Good place to practice patience, especially mid afternoon of a weekday. I appreciate the store, in particular it's trading hours and prices. Whilst I try to support local small businesses whenever possible sometimes you have to look after yourself first and this is very much one of those situations with the rise in cost of living.
Probably the worst Woolworth in Tasmania. Patchy resupplies on the shelves. Often long queues at the checkouts. Fruit and vegetables often look tired. Gluten free products very sparse. Prospect Vale is markedly better.
I hate going here. Very slow service due to lack of self-serve checkouts where you'll wait 5-10 minutes to buy one item. Many staff offer selective customer service where they'll be rude to you for no reason then very friendly to the next customer
They've got everything that you don't want and nothing what you do want there is never any checkout when you want one person with half a brain to quicker you can get people in and out the more money you make
Needs self-serve checkouts. Have the monopoly of the market in deloraine and surrounds, so they don't have to work overly hard for their customers.
Impossible to get change here. Asked a few times to break a note while purchasing something and often rudely refused.
Woolworths has no self serve check outs mainly manning the express check out. Long wait times and line runs into main thoroughfare of the store where you have people walking in between and around you
Bakery is lacking and has a low selection compared to other Woolworths,
All in all, a backwards and outdated Woolworth's. if I had any choice in Deloraine Iād be shopping elsewhere.
I did an online order to pick up on a Sunday to discover that I had ordered it from another store š The manager Josh was so helpful and understanding (and found the humour in my brainlessness)! 99% of the staff at this store are so so friendly, love shopping here š ā¦
